Condition standards

Every item is inspected and graded by our team before listing. Here's what each condition rating means — so you always know what to expect.

NWT

New With Tags

Brand new, never worn. Original brand tags and/or store tags still attached.

What to expect: No signs of wear. May include original packaging, dust bag, or care card.

Never Worn

Like new with no visible signs of wear. Tags may have been removed but the item has never been used.

What to expect: Pristine condition. May include dust bag and packaging.

EXC

Excellent Condition

Gently used with minimal to no signs of wear. May show very slight marks that are barely noticeable. Hardware is clean and intact.

What to expect: Near-perfect appearance. You'd have to look closely to tell it's been worn.

GOOD

Good Condition

Previously worn with some signs of use. May have minor scratches, slight discoloration, or small marks. All functionality intact.

What to expect: Still presents well. Signs of wear are visible up close but not distracting.

USED

Used

Moderate signs of wear consistent with regular use. May include visible scratches, minor stains, or wear to corners and edges.

What to expect: Clearly pre-loved. All structural elements remain sound. Priced to reflect condition.

FAIR

Fair Condition

Significant signs of wear. May have noticeable scratches, stains, discoloration, or worn hardware.

What to expect: Well-loved. Priced significantly below market to reflect condition. Great for buyers who prioritise the piece over perfection.

VTG

Vintage

Items 20 years or older. May show patina, fading, or natural signs of age that reflect the piece's history.

What to expect: Each vintage item is unique. Condition and rarity are factored into pricing. Character is part of the appeal.
